NIIT, in association with Key Curriculum Press , USA, has set up a math lab in our School , for grades from 6th Std. Our school is the 1st school in Southern region of India and and 2nd at All India level to set up this technology lab, where students are able to create high quality mathematical illustrations for use in maths activities.

We make use of Geometer's Sketchpad ( GSP ) which is a software system for creating, exploring and analyzing a wide range of mathematics. This sketchpad helps students to explore mathematical ideas in geometry, algebra, trigonometry, calculus and other areas.
We also make use of manipulatives like zome geometry, Cm cubes, tangrams, polydrons, origami, patty paper, geoboard, dice, pack of cards, etc. to help students visualize the concepts in mathematics for effective learning. This innovative lab enhances the student learning to explore and discover new ideas in mathematics to the fullest, with the help of GSP and manipulatives.
We are able to develop and outshine the students skills by integrating this technology tool in our lab.
